As posted last week, Ticket.com broke the million dollar sales barrier this year. The second place holder on today’s chart Luck.com and third place Exterminator.com also jumped into the mix of top ten domain sales of the year. Unfortunately no details were released on these three private sales.
The best bargain out of the ten was RSS.com, an acronym for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. This short 3 letter dot com is easy to remember and one that everybody encounters. Popular with many blogs and news sites where visitors can subscribe to a web feed channel.
I would also like to point out the sale of the Spanish term Colchones.com which translates to mattresses, this sale proves the Dot Com is alive and well among the 4th most spoken language in the world.
